Why Philippines · Cebu HQ since 2017
The honest case for building your team in the Philippines.
English-fluent, university-educated talent and time zones that cover your working day. We add the part most outsourcing is missing: one vetted, office-based team in Cebu, with a single coordinator accountable for it.
The country, in four numbers — each links to its source
796,576
Higher-education graduates
AY 2018–19 — 81,477 from IT disciplines.
Commission on Higher EducationThe talent
A national industry, measured in millions.
Outsourcing to the Philippines is one of the country’s largest export sectors, with the schools and career paths to match. The fundamentals that make remote delivery work have been in place for a generation.
English-fluent, by default
English is an official language of the Philippines — the language of school, business and government. Your briefs, calls and deliverables happen in it natively, not through a translation layer.
University-educated specialists
Marketing, IT, design and business degrees are produced in volume every year, including the 81,477 IT graduates above. Those are the disciplines our Cebu team is hired from.
Decades of BPO heritage
Outsourcing is an established industry here, not an experiment. Working to Western briefs, deadlines and quality bars is a professional norm people train for.
That pool is where we recruit every service line we deliver — marketing, development, design, video and AI — and it’s why we can hold a senior bar instead of taking whoever a marketplace surfaces.
Operating hours
We moved our day so you don’t have to move yours.
Most offshore teams work Philippine office hours and leave you to cope with the gap. We don’t. ACX runs 3:00 PM to 5:00 AM Cebu time — a deliberate Western shift that puts the team inside your working day instead of behind it.
Our shift, Cebu time
15:00 — 05:00
Fourteen hours a day, and the Philippines doesn’t observe daylight saving — so the window never shifts under you. Each bar below is drawn on your clock: when we are on, in your time.
Client hours are shown as a standard 9–5 in each region’s standard time. On top of the shift, your Account Coordinator aligns briefs, hand-offs and reporting to your morning — which is how one Cebu floor delivers for clients across five regions.

US · East Coast · New York, UTC−5
We’re on 02:00–16:00 your time
7 of your 8 working hours are live. Your working day is covered almost end to end. Briefs, calls and reviews happen live, not overnight.
US · West Coast · Los Angeles, UTC−8
We’re on 23:00–13:00 your time
4 of your 8 working hours are live. The team is already on when you start, through to early afternoon — your mornings are fully live.
United Kingdom · London, UTC+0
We’re on 07:00–21:00 your time
8 of your 8 working hours are live. Your entire working day sits inside our shift. There is no hour of the day you cannot reach the team.
Europe · Berlin, UTC+1
We’re on 08:00–22:00 your time
8 of your 8 working hours are live. Same again across CET: we open before you do and stay on well past your close.
Australia & New Zealand · Sydney, UTC+10
We’re on 17:00–07:00 your time
No live overlap — so this one runs as a handover. Our shift ends as yours begins — so this one runs as an overnight handover: brief us at your close, wake up to the work. (Auckland is two hours further again.)
The options
The country is the easy part. The model is the decision.
Most disappointment with offshoring isn’t about where the work happened — it’s about how the arrangement was structured. These are the three shapes it usually takes.
Swipe the table to see how we compare
| Criterion | Freelance marketplace | Traditional offshore BPO | ACXHUB |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who you get | Whoever bids — vetting is your job | Headcount against a role spec | Named specialists we vetted and employ |
| Who manages it | You do | A team lead, at scale | One Account Coordinator who knows your account |
| Quality control | None built in | Scorecards and SLAs | QA on every deliverable before it reaches you |
| If someone leaves | You start the search again | Backfilled from a pool | A backup bench in the same office picks it up |
| Where they work | Anywhere, unverified | A delivery centre | One floor of our Cebu hub, together |
| Range of skills | One person, one skill | Usually a single function | Marketing, dev, design, video and AI in one team |
The country gives you the talent pool. It doesn’t give you the outcome — that comes from who you hire, where they sit, and who is accountable when something slips.
The ACX difference
Office-based, not a freelancer lottery.
Marketplace outsourcing hands you a stranger and the job of managing them. We built the opposite: a vetted, senior team that sits together on one floor of our Cebu hub, works to one standard, and answers to names you know.

An expert, senior team
Vetted, office-based specialists in Cebu — not a freelancer lottery.
We work as your partner
A coordinator who owns the details and keeps you in the loop.
Quality, assured
QA in every engagement, on every deliverable.
Flexible by design
Scale up or down on your terms — six engagement models.
These are employees, not profiles. Quality is managed in person, QA runs on every deliverable, and a coordinator keeps you in the loop instead of leaving you to chase vendors. Meet the team.
If what you need is a dedicated team member who reports to you, the same vetting, office and backup bench sit behind that seat too.
Cebu HQ
A real address, since 2017.
ACXHUB is a registered Philippine corporation with a delivery floor on A. S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City, Cebu — and a registered LLC in Delaware for our US clients. That permanence is the point: the specialists you work with have desks, careers and a hiring bar, and the company behind them is one you can visit.

Questions
Common questions
Is the quality actually comparable to hiring locally?
For the disciplines we deliver, yes — but that comes from the hiring bar and the QA step, not from the country. The Philippines gives you a deep, English-fluent, university-educated pool; what turns that into consistent output is vetting people properly, putting them in one office to one standard, and reviewing every deliverable before it reaches you.
How do we handle the time difference?
We shifted our day rather than asking you to shift yours: ACX operates 3:00 PM to 5:00 AM Cebu time. That puts the team live for seven of the eight hours of a US East Coast working day, the whole UK and European working day, and your mornings on the US West Coast. The Philippines does not observe daylight saving, so the window never moves under you. Australia and New Zealand are the exception — our shift ends as yours starts, so those accounts run as an overnight handover.
Who do I actually talk to day to day?
One Account Coordinator, who owns the details and routes work to the right specialists. You are not chasing a queue of freelancers or filing tickets into a service desk, and you know the names of the people doing the work.
What happens if the person on my account leaves?
They are our employees, in our office, so continuity is our problem rather than yours. A backup on the same floor already has context and picks the work up, and your coordinator does not change.
Do I have to commit to a big contract?
No. The Hourly Retainer is a self-serve pool you can start with, and the staffing and project models are scoped to what you actually need. The right entry point depends on whether you want a team to run work for you or a dedicated person reporting to you.
Is my data and IP safe offshore?
The team works from our own office on our own equipment rather than from home on personal machines, engagements are covered by contract and NDA, and work is produced in your systems and accounts so ownership never sits with an intermediary.
See what a Philippine team could take off your plate.
Tell us what you’re trying to ship, and we’ll show you the model that fits. A real person replies, and there’s no obligation.
